All abstract submissions are reviewed by our Judging Committee. The abstract review process is anonymous.

PLEASE NOTE: The reviewing committee will only review ENGLISH abstracts.

The following criteria will be used to judge the abstract:

  • Clear presentation of hypothesis, methods, discussion

  • Quality of Introduction and knowledge of background material Methods: appropriate study design, appropriate controls, statistical analysis described

  • Methods: planning and execution of experiments

  • Results: statistically significant and statistically sound

  • Conclusions: stated clearly and related back to study results

  • Impact of study on the field

  • Original, innovative research

  • Overall quality of abstract

The top abstracts will be selected for oral presentations, while the remainder will be awarded poster presentations. A minimum passing score will be required to present at ICHAMS 2023. If you are not awarded an oral or poster presentation, you may still attend all conference events as a passive participant (at no additional charge). Notifications of acceptance to ICHAMS 2023 will be sent out at least 45 days in advance of the conference.

It is the responsibility of the lead author to share the notifications with their co-authors.

The presenting authors of abstracts accepted for oral or poster presentations must confirm attendance at the conference and make their own housing arrangements.
